Who can become a member?
Once you are living or working within our common bond you are eligible to join. The common bond of Access Credit Union covers an area of 15 miles radius of Skibbereen town and extended to include the Mizen Peninsula, and the parishes of Bandon, Newcestown, Innishannon, Kilbrittain, Ballineen and Enniskeane. Because of the common bond, all members have the good of the community at heart. They know and trust each other.
How to Apply for Credit Union Membership
Please call our dedicated Member Service Centre on (028) 21883, our team will guide you through the process and arrange a time that suits you to call into any of our offices (Skibbereen, Bandon, Schull) and complete a membership application form. Remember to bring the following with you:
Proof of Identity
Must show proof of date of birth and recent photo. eg: Passport, Driving Licence.
Proof of Address
Must show address where you currently live. eg: copy of household bill dated within the last 4 months
Proof of PPS Number
Public services card/social services card, Payslip or P60/P45, Correspondence from Revenue/Department
