New App to help Farmers

A new App called ‘AgriSnap’ has been developed to make it easier for farmers and/or advisors to submit geo-tagged photos to comply with certain schemes under the CAP.

ACRES will use geo-tagged photos showing the field’s location and land parcel. This precision photo App will allow farmers and/or advisors to send land parcel pictures and information to the grants payment body to validate payments quickly and easily.

The App is already in use, and to date, over 100,000 photos have been submitted via AgriSnap. This App is available to download from the AppStore onto your mobile phone.
